Old Weapon Models

I zipped up the old Pre-v1 weapon models for the grenade launcher, the shotgun and the ion cannon.

There are some problems with the models in-game though. The Ion Cannon Model dissapears after shooting, so you will have to switch to another weapon then switchback to get it to re-appear. I don't know why it happens. Also the Shotgun reload animation won't play if you have wired reflexes, but it will still reload.

To install simply extract the contents of the zip files into your "Steam/Steamapps/username/Dystopia/Dystopia" file directory.

Maybe if you installed the other old ion over the top it might work better..?

Presumably the cooldown animation being FUBAR'd.

Only happens on servers online, it works on a listen server.

Non-whitelisted animations on pure servers with whitelists?

Old ion cannon model isn't shown on whitelisted servers that don't allow custom models.

I've been trying to get screens and cyberscreens to work in a test map I'm making, but just can't get them to work at all.. I've followed the wiki instructions to the letter but they just render as nothing at all. In the case of my dys_screen it actually renders THROUGH the screen's model.

If it's rendering behind the model or parts of the model the screen entity needs to be pulled out more. It'll render from the origin of the entity (so, in the middle of the little cube in hammer's 3d view).

Unless you mean other parts of the texture are rendering in front of it, in which case you'd need to change the z-ordering in the screen's .res script file ("zpos")
