so? 100 tick was ok or what?

It worked, had to do a hack in order to get broadcast to work properly which requires sv_cheats to be on. There were a couple of other minor issues caused by it but nothing game breaking.

From what I can tell everyone seemed to get better hit regs though. I did have to force users to use 100 on updaterate and cmdrate because otherwise they were getting choke and bitching about it

it did seem better even with the worse pings i had on the server
