Basically you need to set sv_master_legacy_mode to 0 and then enter a heartbeat command.

I still don't see any servers most of the time. Is it just happening to me, or do some admins need prodding to make this change?

I don't think all server admins know about the problem.

Right now the servers that are prety much up all the time are Pates, MC, dubtopia and magical girl.

4 pub + 1 pug. I guess that's all dys needs at the moment, probably like 4 times more.

Yep, but even though they're up they don't always appear in the server list for me.

One fix that I think has done it for me every time is to create my own game, let it load in, and then bring the server list up again.

I found that filtering full and not full again randomly fixed it one time even though the server was full. And another time the in-game and out-of-game server lists differed. So not really sure what's going on, it's just getting it to refresh properly I think.
