Also, none of the suggested. Look for a mechanical keyboard instead.

Imo, they all suck. Filco majestouch, Steelseries 6gv2/7g, ABS M1 are really the only keyboards I would recomend. I do have stupid over the top standards on hardware, and as you might have figured out these are all mechanical keyboards.

Some people never learn to apperiate mechanical keyboards though, so spending money on one before you know if your gonna like it is probably not a good idea.

I have a SteelSeries 7G and I don't think I will ever need to purchase another keyboard again for the rest of my life. I suppose I might need to change it in a few decades... maybe...

Before that I had a Logitech G15 and found it of suitable quality - however the action on the keys did degrade over time (it's also a bit large for limited desk space).

I HATE the Razor keyboards - had bad experiences with a faulty product. Also their packaging is AMAZING but the actual products are quite cheaply manufactured. Also the Lycosa is actually as large as the G15 (if you make a box around it's extremities) and yet it has no functional aspect - it's just trying to "look cool" design.

Disclaimer: This is all personal opinion based on personal experience - I am not an unbiased scientific study so don't think I'm flaming if you are a Razer lover! I'm just sharing my thoughts!

I feel the same way about my DasKeyboard. It was a gift, and yes I think it is overpriced. Except that I don't think it is that overpriced. I honestly believe I will never need to buy another keyboard unless this one has a horrible accident while I'm moving or something.

And I will flame you for liking razer because I have a very bias and irrational opinion towards them.

Razer diamondback 3g = Most solid all-around mouse
Razer deathadder = Arguable the best sensor on the market
Every other razer product = Absolute shitgimmick

Personal preference no best switch for gaming really. I use MX blue and i quite like them, they are louder than the other switches but I wear headphones so I barely hear them. reds are very responsive and good for gaming, blues are very audible so you know to stop pushing down when you hear the click (I play MMO so I like blues.) browns are the quietest for people who don't like to hear the clicking noise.
As I said personal preference.

If anyone's looking for a fresh recommendation, I've been using Logitech G610 for a few months and I love it. Red switch.
