[FIXED] Steam UserID Ticket Invalid

For some reason when I try to join Sludge and now Righteous Chaps, I get the error "Invalid Steam UserID Ticket". I have attempted the previous solution of deleting clientregistry.blob to no avail. I have also logged out of steam and then logged back in without any success. I didn't start having this problem until roughly 2 weeks ago so I'm really not sure what caused it. I haven't verified the the game cache or tried re-installing. Just wondering why I suddenly can't join the more popular servers. Also, to clarify, I can JOIN the server but at the very end of the loading screen or just after the server finishes loading I get this issue. Also just tested that if I join a server where I have not had the problem then I will get it roughly 2 seconds after being connected. Note: When I joined Nyan Nyan Training I did not have this problem, the map was Sav's Dojo. Not sure if the server/map is the issue here. Would be great to know. Thanks!

EDIT: I did what BTC said and deleted my steam/config folder as well as my clientregistry.blob (located in the main Steam folder) and it fixed it just fine. I was able to join any server and stick around on it even after a round change. ! So yeah, thanks BTC d(^.^)b. Also, it wasn't a long fix either, took maybe 5 mins to re-download things. IMPORTANT: You're going to have to check your e-mail for a code they send you though, so make sure the e-mail you have is valid. Rock on Dystopians.

I'm having the exact same issue, and it started around the same time as Seki. It's only on certain servers (but the popular low ping ones). Nyan server works for me as well. I've tried all the traditional fixes to no effect (log out/in, delete blob and dll's, validate files). Starting to wonder if there's a conspiracy against ion heavies...

Also of note, the in-game stats page from the main menu has stopped working for me. It may or may not be related. I've had Skyrim to distract me for now, but it won't last too much longer. I'll be pretty disappointed if I have to leave Dystopia behind me. I imagine this has happened to other players too, and if so, I can see it really hurting the game.

seems to be happening with a lot of mods over the last couple of weeks. best solution I have found that many have said works is to delete everything in your steam folder except for the steamapps folder and steam.exe

Try deleting your ...\Steam\config folder and ClientRegistry.blob.

This solution worked for me too. Thanks! Althought I deleted EVERYTHING in my Steam folder EXCEPT steam.exe and the steamapps folder.
