Dystopia 2?

I know this sounds rather lame, me being new to Dystopia and all, but what if you were to make a brand new "Dystopia 2" with old maps, + new stuff.

Could possibly attract more people if you were to add that 2 at the end of Dystopia, and add other stuffs. :3

I dunno, just think people like it when an old game upgrades. Like, CS1.6 - CS:S. TF - TF2. L4D - L4D2.

Kinda somehow makes sense, in a weird, wacky kinda way.

Word in the know is that they're making an actual new Planetside, supposedly with the same team.

And I'll probably give this one a shot, just because it looks pretty interesting.

Yeah. I'm patiently waiting for Planetside Next or whatever it is they are calling it now.

Extra Dystopia version numbers are unnecessary. It would be neat if each major update had some sort of name/theme. That has worked wonders for TF2.

I sat here for like 10 minutes trying to think of what I could reply to this with but all I can think of is...

Also, be happy, this is the first suggestion thread I've replied to in like months :P

I can't get over the this feeling I have that the game will be terrible even though the trailer is somewhat enticing.

We will have to wait for Dystopia 1.6 before they make Dystopia: Source

If thats the case that means 1.3 will be the best version of dystopia.

How about making Dystopia a standalone free (F2P?) game? I guess it's doable as Puny Human's got Source Engine license.

We'd have to get a new licence as it can only be used for one game.

I would enjoy a Distopia game release simalar to what the developers of the Insurgency and Chivalry source mods did. I know PH's main foucus at this moment is Blade symphony but im sure once it is done they will go and look back at Dystopia.
We may not go straight back to Dystopia. We plan on supporting Blade Symphony for a good period of time after release and we may explore the possibility of doing a smaller game.
