DGL Season 3 Finals!

Greetings from the Dystopia Global League, the official competitive league for Dystopia! We would like to share the great news, that Season 3 is nearing it's end, and invite everyone to enjoy the big finals match between nb| and Tank!

Null Byte vs. Tank
(4:00pm US-EST, 1:00pm US-PCF, 21:00 GMT, tomorrow at 8:00am AU-Sydney)

This match is the result of our global double-elimination 5 vs. 5 person tournament that began in mid-December of 2009. Tank, undefeated in the tournament, will take on Null Byte on Detonate; who had won against Kaya on the same map a week ago.

In the case of Null Byte winning the match on Detonate, a second match is to be played on Cybernetic. A likely scenario, for not too long ago both teams had faced each other on that very map, with Null Byte taking the victory. In a pre-match interview with 316 John and Bitey however, Tank seemed quite confident! Be sure to read all about it before the big game; this truly is a once-in-a-lifetime match, that will have a can't miss ending!

One thing is certain though; this match will be showcasing some of the most skilled players in Dystopia. According to the Season 3 Player Award voting, the public chose hyphen-ated for "Best Decker," axeto for "Best Grenade Launcher" and WILDMAN for "Best Laser Rifle" -- all of whom are from Null Byte. Conversely, joker was nominated for the "Best Ion" award, with all members of Tank running for the prestigious "Best Player of Season 3" award. You can still vote for the player awards until Monday, by visiting the DGL player profile of the person you want to vote for, and using the options on their profile.

We also want to take this opportunity to let everyone know about our next event, the DGL Nations Cup, that starts next week. If you are new to the competitive scene and want a taste of the atmosphere, we would certainly recommend signing up here.
