can only assume dota 2 will also be free to play with huge amounts of microtransactions

they've been mangling their other games just to get the infrastructure in place for it

public beta is still happening but the game itself won't be shipping until next year. valve are still unsure on how they are going to monetize it too.

Kinda a resurrect, but Valve keeps giving me Dota 2 gifts to give out, so anybody wants one?

I wouldn't say no to some compensation, depending on what exactly, but it's not a requirement.
