Draft league!

The draft tournaments were a lot of fun, so let's do a draft league! The draft to determine the teams will happen on Saturday, September 3rd. The first round of matches will begin a week after that. It will start out with a round-robin: every team plays every other team, one match each week. Then there will be a single-elimination mini-tournament (in one day) with the top-seeded four teams to determine the overall winner. The target is to have 8 teams, so that means the league will last for two months.

The map order will be:
Round 1: Sept 10-11 -- Vaccine
Round 2: Sept 17-18 -- Detonate
Round 3: Sept 24-25 -- Fortress

Rounds 1-7 are round robin. Each team will play each other team. The pairings each week were predecided here, randomly: http://challonge.com/dystopiadraftleague

You get to decide whether to play on a US or EU server during your attacking round. It has to run the DGL config.
The team listed "on top" on http://challonge.com/dystopiadraftleague attacks first. (this is unfortunately not the same as the "challenging team" on the dgl site, which means nothing)

Winning a match is worth 1 point
Losing a match is worth 0 points
Forfeiting a match is worth -.5 points
Winning by having a team forfeit against you is worth .25 points

At the end of the round-robin portion, the 3 teams with the top scores will go into the final tournament. There will also be a 4th team in the finals, which will be chosen randomly among all the teams in the league, weighted by their scores. This seems a little silly, but the point is so a team still has an incentive to play their matches if they're locked out of top 3 contention. Winning more matches will increase their chance to get the #4 spot in the finals tournament.

Seeds 1-4 and 2-3 will be matched up in the semis, and then there'll be a finals match, all on the same day.

Seeding ties will be broken in favor of the team which won matches closer to the end of the league. The procedure will be like this: look at their records and move backwards, starting at the end. If both teams had the same result during the round you're looking at, ignore it and move backwards another round. Once you find a round where they didn't have the same result, the team which got more points during that round wins the tie.

The draft is going to happen at noon pacific time (that's 7pm GMT), this saturday, in mumble and in the pug group steamchat.
